Hello, I am NM, and in my class Drama, we have been constantly discussing gender norms and patriarchs and matriarchs. A patriarch is a man that is in control of the household, and a matriarch is a woman that is in control of the household. For this class, we read the play "A Raisin in the Sun" together, and it had lots of matriarchy and views of patriarchy, and also lots of racial inequalities shown in the play that we discussed. For this action project, we had to learn about the Greek chorus, which is the public opinion that is shown on stage. We were meant to choose a scene from the play "A Raisin in the Sun", and then write our chorus for it. I hope you like mine!

This action project was different than any action project I've done before. The most difficult part for me was actually finding a bunch of people to ask my question, but it was an interesting experience to ask the leading question to many people, and I liked hearing everyone's answers. I enjoyed this class and all the topics we discussed in this class. Thank you for visiting my blog and reading my blog post!
